This Berry Banana Smoothie Bowl is packed full of delicious berries, banana and honey and topped with topped fruit and toasted pine nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana frozen
  • 60 g frozen mixed berries
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 125 g banana yogurt
  • 1 small squeeze lemon juice
  • ½ kiwi sliced
  • 2-3 strawberries sliced
  • 8 g pine nuts toasted
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions

  • Put the banana, frozen berries, yogurt, honey and lemon juice in a food processor and blitz until completely smooth (add a splash of water if needed).
  • Transfer the smoothie into a bowl and top with chopped strawberries, kiwi, chia seeds and toasted pine nuts.

Notes

You can toast the pine nuts but adding them to a small dry frying pan and heat them for a couple minutes whilst shaking the pan until the are toasted on both sides.
