Abruzzo is a rural region, east of Rome that’s nestled between the Apennine mountains and Adriatic sea. It’s famous for it’s wine such as Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Pasta alla Chitarra (a special homemade spaghetti) and it’s lamb dishes such as Arrosticini (lamb skewers).
