Tuscan Recipes

Tuscany is a region filled with beauty from its picturesque rolling hills, and beautiful beaches to the stunning Renaissance and medieval cities of Florence, Siena and Lucca.

The Tuscans are known as ‘Mangiafagioli’ (bean eaters) because their cuisine is so rich in beans and pulses such as Ribollita, Farro Soup and Fagioli all’Uccelletto.

You’ll see the simplest ‘cucina povera’ recipes using up leftovers such as Pappa al Pomodoro (one of my favourite dishes ever) to extravagant steaks (Bistecca alla Fiorentina) and we haven’t even got started on the incredible desserts.
