Abruzzo is a rural region, east of Rome thatโs nestled between the Apennine mountains and Adriatic sea. Itโs famous for itโs wine such as Montepulciano DโAbruzzo, Pasta alla Chitarra (a special homemade spaghetti) and itโs lamb dishes such as Arrosticini (lamb skewers).
