Aosta Valley

If youโ€™re looking for cosy, comforting and hearty dishes to feed the soul and keep you warm during the colder months then the Aosta Valley (Valle dโ€™Aosta) is the place to be.

This small northern region in Italy is famous for its rich and comforting foods such as Costoletta alla Valdostana, a breaded veal chop stuffed with ham and fontina cheese and fried in butter. Then thereโ€™s Risotto alla Valdostana, a creamy and extra cheesy risotto made with Fontina cheese and Parmigiano Reggiano. These dishes are comfort food heaven and are unbelievably delicious.
