Is this the new spritz of the summer?

Sarti Rosa (pronounced sar-tee ro-sa) is an Italian aperitivo liqueur from Bologna dating back to 1885, although it’s definitely not as well known as Aperol or Campari.

It has a gorgeous pink hue and is made with Sicilian blood orange, mango and passion fruit.

In my opinion, the flavour is heavier on the passion fruit side and reminds me a lot of Passoa liqueur. It’s not bitter at all, so if you’re not a fan of an Aperol Spritz or Campari cocktail, then this might be the aperitivo for you.

What does Sarti mean?

Sarti is an Italian surname that means tailors. Sarti was named after one of the founders, Luigi Sarti.
